I consider myself to be a motivated and very pro-active individual who always gives any employer a good honest and a reliable service at all times. I am polite, friendly and a cheerful person. I get on well with a wide range of different people and I feel I have good interpersonal skills. I am a very committed person with a good work ethic who always enjoys a new challenge when I am pursuing my own or organisational goals and / or deadlines. In the past I was working voluntary with Greystone Rovers football club at the 3G football pitch at Dumfries High school, where I open and close up, keep the pitches clean and the walking area as well as collecting monies from the groups who have use of the facility. I enjoyed this and it has given me experience working with the general public and being in a trustworthy position working with money on behalf of the club.
In the last 6 month I have given my time up to help a family that have 2 children of school age. In the time I have been out of work as both parents are working full time this has involved making meals and keeping up to date with homework and teaching the children through play and showing them about life shopping etc .It has involved helping them to build up their confidence and self-esteem which has come a long way. Planning good use of out of school time, for example going days away and involving them in preparations and decision making.
